Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building "Young Side of The Moon"

The project “The young side of the Moon”, funded by the EU through the ERASMUS+ programme, Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Capacity Building in the field of youth, united 8 partners from Europe, Asia and Africa (Italy, Latvia, Greece, Cyprus, Kenya, India, Vietnam, Senegal). It gave the opportunity for youth workers to strengthen their knowledge in project management, strengthen partnership among consortium and created links among new partners. One of the main outcomes of the project - the booklet is intended as a learning resource to support community development in the frame of youth work, specifically targeting youth workers that are engaged in community work with disadvantaged young people.

International Summer Academy in Engineering for Women ISAE4W - FH Upper Austria, July 2016

The International Summer Academy for Women in Engineering (ISAE4W) offers an ideal opportunity for a selected group of highly-motivated and talented women (high school, college or undergraduate students) to experience top-class and challenging university-level coursework.

The Academy’s intensive, two-week programme combines sophisticated theory with hands-on practical experience in engineering and natural sciences. In addition to knowledge transfer in these fields, social, cross-cultural and gender aspects are covered and discussed during lectures and workshops. Even though most of the Academy’s programme will be for all participants, there are selected lectures, laboratories or seminars in the two main topics that cover specific issues and current trends in these scientific fields in more depth. In addition, the participants will have an ongoing project throughout the entire academy in their selected main topic. The project will encompass scientific and technological aspects as well as creativity and social impact.

A team of highly qualified academic staff from our university as well as from other universities and organisations will provide scientific and technical background on workshop topics and information about the role of women in science and their opportunities in scientific careers.

Programme Staff Days AAU Klagenfurt

Dear colleagues,

The International Office of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt is organising its first Erasmus+ Staff Days from April 18th to April 20th, 2016 and we would like to take the opportunity to invite you to this event.

The Erasmus+ Staff Days will offer the perfect environment to meet colleagues working in International Offices at partner universities, share knowledge and exchange experiences as well as discovering what the AAU and the city of Klagenfurt itself have to offer.

A small contingent of rooms is reserved for the participants of our Staff Days at the youth hostel near the AAU:

Erasmus+ Funded Training Courses in Cyprus - for teachers, trainers, university staff and adult education professionals:

Who's eligible?

Teachers, Adult Education Professionals and Higher Education Staff of organizations, schools and institutions that received the Erasmus+ staff training funding for the school years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Check with your Erasmus+ Office or the Head Office if funds are available and come for a week of professional training in the sunny island of Cyprus.

If your institution hasn't been granted the Erasmus+ fund yet, you can submit the application by the 2nd of February 2016.

How to obtain the funding?

If your organization doesn't have funds available, it is easy to apply. Before being able to apply for Erasmus+ funding you need to register your organisation as follows:

Register your organisation on the European Commission Authentication Service (ECAS), if you are not already registered. Log in to the Participant Portal with your ECAS account details and register your organisation to obtain your unique 9-digit Participant Identification Code (PIC). Please ensure your organisation does not already have a PIC and read the Participant Portal User Manual before you register. Download and submit the relevant application form on your National Agency website. Remember that the application submission deadline is on the 2nd of February 2016.
